Joseph Schow is a husband and father of two with a lifelong commitment to service and community. His calling to public service was inspired by seeing firsthand how families and communities are impacted by the overbearing hand of government in their lives.
As a movement conservative, Joseph is passionate about the issues of lowering the tax burden on families, creating a strong economy with well-paying jobs, standing for parents choice in Education and protecting the sanctity of life. As a political activist, Joseph was the director of field operations for the Jason Kenney Leadership Team. He also worked with the Conservative Party as a campaign manager, and as a legislative assistant on Parliament Hill in Ottawa and for the United Conservative Caucus at the Legislature in Edmonton. and activist fighting for the values he was brought up with while living in Southern Alberta.
In the time Joseph spent working for the Conservative Party Caucus, he focused on improving market access for the agricultural and energy industry and promoting religious freedoms in Canada and abroad. And while working with Jason Kenney's team Joseph fought tirelessly to promote unity between the Wildrose and Progressive Conservative Parties. Joseph is a passionate Albertan who believes that reform is needed on equalization payments to give Alberta a fair shake at prosperity.
His work experience in private sector as a small business owner in communications, public policy development on Parliament Hill, field operator with Jason Kenney and UCP legislative advisory has prepared him to hit the ground running as a Member of the Legislative Assembly and get things done for our neighbours.
Joseph holds a Master’s Degree in Political Management from the George Washington University and a Bachelor’s degree from Dalhousie University.
